Promoting the Scholarship

The Vanier CGS program attracts the best and brightest doctoral students from Canada and around the world to Canadian universities.

Universities can promote the Vanier program by telling students about the program and directing them to the website. The following resources are available to help you promote the Vanier CGS program:

Publicizing your Vanier scholars

The Vanier CGS program encourages universities to promote their Vanier scholars, and to publicize their accomplishments in any related documentation (e.g., in announcements of speaking engagements, at conferences or workshops, in biographical notes, in materials for the media, etc.).

The title of each scholar must include the term "Vanier Canada Graduate Scholar." The scholar may use this title for the duration of their award.

Information is also available on using the Vanier logo to acknowledge the support of the Vanier CGS program.
